Due to the coronavirus crisis, the European Commission has made changes to the current MSCA-RISE 2020 call. The Commission has decided to:

  • extend the RISE 2020 call deadline by two weeks, until 12 May 2020, 17:00 Brussels time
  • request letters of commitment from partners only at the Grant Agreement Preparation phase – and only from those proposals selected for funding or put on the reserve list.

The 2020 RISE call for proposals is currently open. Organisations such as universities, research centres and companies that want to offer a short-term exchange to their staff can apply on the Funding and Tenders Portal. Funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions and with an overall budget of €80 million, the RISE programme promotes cross-border and cross-sector collaboration between research and markets across Europe and beyond.
