The European Alliance Against Coronavirus is exploring ways to connect the social initiatives better with other sectors of the economy. Karel Vanderpoorten from the European Commission is giving an overview of the social economy sector in the European Union, and presents some examples on how to match demand and supply through these actors. The social economy sector is rich in variety, having different modes of working and legal framework.
