The SME Envoy Network represents the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on a European level. It works to ensure that European legislation and policy proposals consider their impact on SMEs. In the meeting on 5 May, the SME Envoy Network presented intself to the European Alliance Against Coronavirus to establish a first connection for future collaboration. 

During the meeting, there was already one possible collaboration activity identified. The clusters can help the SME Envoy Network to determine to what extent the measures which taken to fight the coronavirus crisis actually reach the SMEs. They could provide short reports and feedback from the SMEs in the European countries and facilitate these to the SME Envoy Network as an informal "real time data" to complement formal inquiries by the Network.
