In the meeting on 31 March, Prof. Jouke Verlinden from University of Antwerp presented his idea of a European peer review system for a quick validation of new designs, e.g. for masks and respirators. Currently, many innovators make the experience that the homologation processes take far too long to act quickly in the crisis. The group discusses needs for that kind of systems.

Furthermore, Alvaro Jansa from the the social movement "coronavirusmakers" in Spain, shares their experiences in developing prototypes for masks and respirators. The company Astroprint was developing a 3D printing matchmaking app to support with PPEs.
