The crisis is a chance for a digital revolution in aviation

At a time when air traffic over Europe almost froze, the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency decided to use its scientific and innovation potential to fight both the coronavirus and the crisis it caused. At the end of April, unmanned aircraft, flying in the airport's controlled area out of sight of the operator (BVLOS), transported samples for testing for COVID-19 virus between two hospitals. The historic flight took place in Warsaw.
