After more than 5 years of supporting innovation actors in the MENA region, THE NEXT SOCIETY is opening a new chapter entirely dedicated to Mediterranean clusters.
Co-financed by the European Union, Euromed Clusters Forward advocates for better regulatory frameworks for clusters provides them with financial and technical support, connects them internationally and leverages their potential to promote Mediterranean value chains.
In this context, you are invited to join us for our first stop in Malta on November 23-24, for the Euromed Clusters Forward Summit. This Summit will include the programme’s kick-off event and #TechDays sessions of panel discussions, workshops and B2B meetings.
Objectives
Euromed Clusters Forward is the new action plan of THE NEXT SOCIETY dedicated to clusters. It is co-funded by the European Union up to 90% for a global amount of EUR 7.8 million budget and led by ANIMA until 2026 with the aim of strengthening clusters and their members in 7 Southern Mediterranean countries, promoting inclusive innovation and competitiveness in the Euromed region in order to improve growth, economic diversification, sustainable development and employment.
The event represents a unique opportunity for EU and MENA cluster organisations to explore possible common areas of interest for cooperation and complementarities in terms of the sectoral, value chain, and market focus of their SMEs and other companies.
What are #TechDays?
#TechDays are 2-day events that encourage inter-cluster collaboration among MENA cluster managers & with their EU counterparts in order to pursue a trade, investment and partnering opportunities.
Participants present their strategies and portfolio of business & cooperation opportunities and are expected to sign letters of Intent, memoranda of understanding and other types of partnership agreements with roadmaps on how to initiate and sustain the collaborations.

The event will take place on November 23-24, 2022 in Malta.
Will my expenses be covered?
The project covers up to 90% of 30 EU and MENA* cluster managers’ expenses (travel, accommodation, food) in the limit of the amount of the envelope communicated beforehand. You are encouraged to invite companies from your cluster but they should bear their own expenses.

Am I eligible?
