The International Conference of Knowledge and Innovation – ciKi is a regional event that aims to promote the conceptual and methodological development as well as the practices on knowledge and innovation management, along with intellectual capital.
This initiative, originated by the Postgraduate Program in Engineering and Knowledge Management at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina – UFSC, the Science andTechnological Park – TECNOPUC of the Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio Grande do Sul – PUCRS and the College of the Américas – COLAM, program of the Inter-American Organization for Higher Education – IOHE, in partnership with numerous institutions of higher education and organizations of the Americas. It count on a techno – scientific environment in which researchers, decision-makers, managers and professionals can collaborate, discuss, develop or share theories, methodologies, tools and experiences in these fields.
Along its history, the ciKi has been consolidating as a space for the exchange of relevant ideas, experiences and trends to knowledge management and innovation management in the public, private and academic sectors.
This year, Bogotá is the scenario of the VI Edition “Accelerate Innovation: Decisive Factor for Social Development”, which is focused on a set of strategic themes that would effectively propel processes of innovation in the region and compensate the poor development and the low indicators showed for Latin-America and the Caribbean in this field.
