Agri-food business mission to Japan from 2 to 6 July 2023.
Join Commissioner Wojciechowski in his high-level agri-food business mission to Japan. The Commissioner will be visiting Japan on 2-6 July 2023 accompanied by a delegation of up to 80 senior representatives of European companies/producer organisations of the agri-food sector.
The purpose of the visit is to facilitate European agricultural food and beverage exports to Japan. The trip will combine official meetings of the Commissioner with the relevant governmental counterparts, and promotion activities attended by the business delegation. Businesspeople attending this mission should represent particularly, but not exclusively, the sectors of processed agricultural products, dairy (with a focus on cheeses), wine, beer and spirits, olive oil, fruit and vegetables, and meat (beef, pig meat and poultry).
The Commissioner would like to include in his business delegation companies from all EU Member States that preferably have not participated in such EU projects before and that may be new to the Japanese market. Priority will be given to such companies, especially small and medium enterprises with credible export potential, to join this business mission.
