About

Euromed Clusters Forward is the new action plan of THE NEXT SOCIETY dedicated to clusters. It is co-funded by the European Union up to 90% for a global amount of EUR 7.8 million budget, and led by ANIMA until 2026 with the aim of strengthening clusters and their members in 7 Southern Mediterranean countries, promoting inclusive innovation and competitiveness in the Euromed region in order to improve growth, economic diversification, sustainable development and employment.

More specifically, the project focuses on improving cluster regulatory frameworks and incentives for collaboration between the components of the quintuple helix (university-industry-government-public-environment) to support the development of cluster member companies and their competitiveness.

Euromed Clusters Forward also improves the capacity of cluster governance to develop forward-looking strategies and provide quality services to their members, thus increasing their business performance, innovation capacity and job creation. Finally, the project aims to activate Euromed value chains by promoting forward-looking sectoral visions and supporting the creation of alliances of EU and Southern Mediterranean clusters in key value chains for the region
