Summary and objectives
Relying on their regional smart specialization priorities, 4 health clusters supporting the development of advanced therapies for personalized medicine (Atlanpole Biotherapies-FR, BioM-DE, BIOWIN-BE, Klaster Life Science Krakow-PL) will work in synergy to: - achieve cluster/sectoral comparative analyses to pinpoint synergies, common weaknesses and areas of improvement, - enhance cluster’ management skills and strategy through customized trainings and transnational missions for C2C learning on topics of common interest for SMEs stemming from benchmarking, - stimulate dialogue between their SME members and business/innovation support stakeholders within the consortium and beyond thanks to short-term exchanges through the ClusterXchange scheme, - design a joint strategic plan to ensure sustainability of the partnership. The aim is to build on lessons learned and experience gained to provide start-ups/SMEs in the health sector with top-quality and professional services and to help them capitalize on cross-sectoral partnering and seize opportunities available beyond regional borders in order to innovate, grow abroad, face global competition and meet the challenge of personalized medicine.
