- Support SMEs in energy sector to access the market and exploit the technologies resulting from R&D activities, through innovative cluster services
- Promote cross sector collaborations between ICT (digital technologies) and energy sector, and support the emerging industry of «digital energy» for the implementation of energy transition in Europe
- Implement a new alliance between energy and ICT clusters and their networks at EU level, to approach different energy realted sectors
- Fiil the existing gaps in energy related industrial value chains through cooperation for innovation
From September 2020 onwards you’ll be able to participate in the ClusterXchange Scheme. For companies this means that you can visit companies, living labs, incubation centres, research centres in the rest of the EU. SMARTENERGY provides you with a budget for travel and accommodation costs (minimum 3 days). For innovation stakeholders this means that you can receive and host companies and innovation stakeholders from other EU countries.
These visits are all about transnational cooperation, peer learning, networking and innovation uptake to digitalise the European energy sector.
Interested to apply for an exchange? Leave your contact details HERE - We'll get in touch with you once you can apply for the ClusterXchange scheme.
The following results are expected:
- 4 collaborative trainings, open to regional innovation actors, to increase cluster skills in the providing and managing innovative go to market services
- Implementation of a joint "digital energy" strategy between the partners, based on a cross sectoral analysis of the opportunities for integration of energy and ICT technologies for different applications
- 60 exchanges between different organizations interested to reach the market, resulting in expressions of interest to collaborate and partnership agreements
- 5 workshops with regional authorities to support the regional S3 planning and implementation processes
- Definition of a new common methodological approach between the partners for bringing innovation to market in sinergy with local ecosystems, based on a preliminary benchmarking
