The webinar “Business Plan Development Guide for Startups” will underline the importance of a business plan for any business. During the webinar, the main sections of a business plan, the common business plan guidelines and tools, the development process and the purposes of each, will be described. The aim is to help in developing a business plan that will meet entrepreneurs’ goals, think through all the parts of their business and plan how everything will work efficiently and effectively.
About the speaker:
Dr. Nikos Vogiatzis is an innovation and business champion with more than 20 years of solid management experience. He is a pioneer in forming industrial and research innovation ecosystems (clusters) with private and public institutions in high-growth market sectors, focusing on innovation management and entrepreneurship. He co-founded Corallia in 2005 which has grown to become a cornerstone of the European innovation and entrepreneurship landscape. Up to this date he has systematically evaluated more than 2,000 startup business plans and has provided business consulting and guidance to more than 200 startups. He has designed and applied elaborate evaluation and monitoring frameworks and KPIs for startups, helping achieve economies of scale and economies of scope in all his ecosystem building activities. He regularly serves as an expert evaluator for European Commission, in Technology and Research sectors. He has been a member of various Advisory and Reflection Groups, particularly in industrial policy and development, addressing themes such as fostering international cooperation; evaluating industrial excellence; and using excellent clusters to address emerging industries including innovative services. Nikos has an Electrical and Computer Engineering background, holding also a PhD degree in Information and Communication Systems and a Masters certification in Professional Project Management.
