Repetitive tasks that derivate in errors, causing economic loses, time delays and human injuries, are daily problems of both Aerospace and Textile Industries. In this webinar we will cover how Aerospace industry is using innovative automation and digitalization tools to reduce errors while increasing simultaneously revenues and operator’s happiness. From smart logistics to AI warning systems, those novel tools will be analyzed and extent to possible applications in textile industries.

Eduardo Ferreras

Eduardo Ferrera is a Telecommunication Engineer from the University of Sevilla. He has international experience acquired in the Group of Robotics, Vision and Control (GRVC) at the University of Sevilla (Spain) and Networked Embedded Systems Group (NES) at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany). He is co-author of 8 international papers, and has experience participating and leading several International projects related to technological transference of artificial intelligence and machine/deep learning solutions to the aerospace industry. Between his portfolio, he has worked with Aerial and Ground Robots, Autonomous Cars and Anthropomorphic manipulators. With his team, he has developed aerospace related solutions for Aerotecnic, Sofitec, Fokker and Airbus. He has also worked with Iturri in the textile related industrialization solutions. Since 2019 is the Head of the Automation and Robotics Unit at CATEC.
