The aim is to show a collection of entrepreneurship projects supported by clusters, how to work with incubators, promote couching and mentoring, and how to connect Start-ups and SMEs via innovative and collaborative projects.

Xavier Baño, Innovation Service Manager in the Department of Business Services at La Salle Campus Barcelona - Universitat Ramon Llull.
Manuel Palacin, PhD is a tech entrepreneur obsessed with helping the best technological projects reach society, through innovative solutions. For this, Manuel provides his strong tech experience with his entrepreneurial background to unite the world of science and technological research with the world of entrepreneurship, the large corporation and the investment ecosystem. He is currently, Program Manager at The Collider, the tech-transfer program of the Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation. He seeks to connect scientific talent with serial entrepreneurs to create highly innovative scientific-based startups, that transform the results of the scientific research in marketable products or services that solve the challenges of the industry. Manuel received his B.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineer in 2009 from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Barcelona Tech). He also received a Master of Science in Telecommunication Engineering & Management from the UPC in 2009 and a Master in Networks and Telecommunication Services from La Salle University (URL) in 2007. In 2009 he did an internship in the Telecommunications Department of the Polytechnic University of Torino at the Mario Boella Institute. In 2015 he completed his Ph.D in IT at the NeTS research group in the Information and Communication Technologies Department of the Pompeu Fabra University.
