Context 

The European Commission is aiming to analyse the evolution of the European innovation ecosystem.  

A more integrated and cohesive European innovation ecosystem will turn European scientific excellence into the key innovations of tomorrow. It will also address the innovation divide between the EU’s Member States and regions.  

You can now join the conversation and connect with a growing community of Europeans interested in innovation. Input to this survey will help to shape the future Horizon Europe programme and Cohesion Policy programmes. 

This survey is part of a broad consultation by the European Commission aimed at gathering the views from stakeholders. These include ministries, regional and local authorities, venture capital companies, universities and research organisations, businesses, SMEs, and start-ups, NGOs civil society organisations and individuals in shaping a robust European innovation ecosystem. 

The Commission is looking for your views on the challenges and opportunities that Europe faces in innovation. It also encourages proposals for measures that have potential to be scaled up at a local, regional, national or EU level. 

The deadline for submissions is 7 September 2021 at 17:00 CET.
