Take part in the EU manufacturing survey

Submitted by Imogen Allan on 30 July 2021

In order to adapt to current challenges such as climate change, inequalities, demographic trends and new developments, the way the EU manufactures goods needs to change.

This requires new manufacturing technologies and businesses that are inclusive, sustainable, circular and collaborative. It also requires engaging with new players, companies, sectors and organisations to find innovative solutions to challenges.

In this context, the European Commission has launched a survey to gather the views of the wider European Manufacturing Community. It will focus on key priorities for 2030 and beyond, and engage in co-creation for next work programmes, building on the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda of Made in Europe and EIT Manufacturing programmes. The survey will also gather interest for a future workshop in autumn which has a provisional date 25 October that will bring together stakeholders to discuss the future manufacturing priorities of Europe. This survey is open until 15 September.
