Description

Are you a European cluster or SME in the chemical sector?

REACH stands for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. If your business manufactures or imports one ton or more per year of a chemical substance, you must record this in the REACH database.

REACH applies to all chemical substances, including those needed for industrial processes and those we use in our everyday lives.

Any good produced or imported in the EU or European Economic Area is affected, regardless of its position in the supply chain. For this reason, businesses need to be aware of the requirements in the REACH Regulation so they can inform SME clients.

A training session on 29 November at 14:00 CET will provide you with a better understanding of the REACH Regulation and give you the tools to better support your clients.

The session will start with a brief overview of the challenges faced by SMEs in relation to REACH. Harrie Temmink, the Deputy Head of the Unit responsible for REACH at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, will introduce the Regulation and answer your questions.

The session is open to all Enterprise Europe Network partners and clusters organisations.

You can find the full agenda of the training attached at the bottom of this page.
