Puglia, Italy launches survey to improve benchmarking analysis

Submitted by Imogen Allan on 25 February 2021

In Puglia in the South of Italy, a regional law on productive districts has been in force since 2007.

Given the growing interest in cluster policy in Europe (particularly in connection with smart specialisation strategies), the Regional Council of Apulia and the Regional Agency for Technology and Innovation aim to collect ideas from others’ experiences in Europe via a web survey, in order to improve the regulatory framework and effectiveness of Puglia's regional law.

The survey will collect data from clusters and other actors to improve their benchmarking analysis, both in terms of quality and the statistical significance of the results.

Expert and cluster practitioner participation in this survey is considered highly relevant!

Please share your experiences with regional law supporting cluster policy by accessing the survey here.
