The Ukrainian Maritime Cluster grew from the cluster initiative during multiple public events in 2018-2019 and was established as Public Union by proactive Ukrainian companies in 2020. UMC is a platform for the Ukrainian maritime industry companies to share best practices and develop a consolidated position.
During the two years of UMC functioning the number of cluster members reached 26 organizations. Among them leading shipbuilding enterprises of the region, including Defense Segment, Mykolaiv Chamber of Commerce and City Council, Maritime Universities, innovative engineering companies and SMEs.
Partnership agreements are concluded with international organizations and governmental institutions. EC funded projects - 4BIZ, BlueFoods - are in progress with European and Associated Consortium Partners.
