The Action Plan was approved in April 2020 One of the measures under the Action Plan is the establishment of an integrated Digital Innovation Hubs network in Portugal. This network will be part of the European DIHs network and aims to provide a set of services, such as finance advice, skills and training and an innovation ecosystem and networking for SMEs, midcaps, start-ups, and public administrations. Clusters are natural partners that, directly or indirectly, are an integral part of the DIH network, as members of the consortium or as partners. Bearing in mind that Clusters are naturally sectoral, this is a condition that DIH can benefit from, as they have a natural proximity to businesses, i.e. in perceiving the needs, namely those of SMEs, so it is a win-win situation for both parties.
