To support SMEs and cluster members in identifying their needs and setting up plans for innovation, R&D and technology transfer in the fields of food technologies, traceability, product/process innovation, microbiology, food safety and sustainability.
The support is provided by means of R&D projects building, demonstration/TT activities, training and education and fund raising.

The staff supports the cluster AGRIFOOD members on technology transfer and R&D concernig packaging and shelf life improvement; sanitization technologies and food safety; development of new products, processes and services.
The support is provided by means of both advisory services (with internal labs and partnerships with external laboratories) and of assistance and support to SMEs on identifying funding opportunities on regional, national or EU programmes.
