Overview
About us
Main objective is to strengthen the regional photonics sector. The self-understanding of the network is that of a service provider for its members to generate innovation, growth and jobs. To achieve the objective (according to member surveys and strategy meetings) the following points are important:
- Enabling contacts:
- Extend contacts between cluster members
- Extend contacts within the national photonic sector
- Extend contacts internationally
- strengthen contacts to users
- Access to informations:
- about competences inside and outside of the network
- about new trends and developments in the photonics sector
- about developments in the area of application
- participation in fairs with joint booths
- further training / preservation of specialised personnel
- increased press relations and lobbying
The Internationalisation is advanced through cooperations with other associations / clusters at national or international level, e.g. in the user area, at events, delegation trips.
