Overview

About us

Main objective is to strengthen the regional photonics sector. The self-understanding of the network is that of a service provider for its members to generate innovation, growth and jobs. To achieve the objective (according to member surveys and strategy meetings) the following points are important:

  • Enabling contacts:
    • Extend contacts between cluster members
    • Extend contacts within the national photonic sector
    • Extend contacts internationally
    • strengthen contacts to users
  • Access to informations:
    • about competences inside and outside of the network
    • about new trends and developments in the photonics sector
    • about developments in the area of application
  • participation in fairs with joint booths
  • further training / preservation of specialised personnel
  • increased press relations and lobbying

The Internationalisation is advanced through cooperations with other associations / clusters at national or international level, e.g. in the user area, at events, delegation trips.
