Description

Are you a cluster or SME in the agri-food value chain?

Industry 4.0 offers opportunities and challenges for the agri-food value chain. To recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, the food industry needs to respond to key challenges to become more competitive and sustainable.

To transition to a more digital model, farmers and SMEs need more support. To tackle key challenges, reliable data across the food value chain is essential.

EIT Food, the ‘Smart Sensors 4 Agri-food’ Partnership and the INNOSUP-01 project S3FOOD are organising a webinar on 25-26 November to show how the current digital transformation is leading to new ways of creating products and business models for the agri-food sector.

The event is titled: 'It’s all about data! Opportunities in the agri-food value chain' and will show how the agri-food value chain can become more digital.

During the first day of the event, organisers will showcase real-life cases, including how digitalisation can improve a range of processes within horticulture, arable farming, livestock farming and food processing, making them more sustainable and efficient.

Day two will provide an overview of funding opportunities from both the host organisations as well as European programs.
