About us

The Cluster main idea is to create positive environment and cross-sectorial platform for strengthening position of Poland on market of dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, biomedical products, as well as developing own production & know-how based on natural agricultural resources. Development of the state of the art spin-off companies within Cluster will be the driving force of the consortium, creating conditions to stimulate entrepreneurship and competitiveness.

Area of the Cluster's activities include high technology in food processing, biotechnology, nutraceuticals, biomedical products. These actions make it necessary to link innovative economy based on knowledge with development of biotechnological and pharmaceutical technologies.

The project is a part of an internal integration of the NUTRIBIOMED Cluster members. The project is conducting cooperation within the Cluster resulting in research and development activities which boost the implementation of innovative technologies and products.

The Project goals:

  1. Reinforcing market competitiveness of companies within cooperation bond by increasing innovativeness and unique, modern production technologies.

Clusters & Cooperation for Regional Development in Central Europe (CLUSTERS-CORD) is CENTRAL EUROPE Initiative program running from 1st March 2010 to 28th February 2013 (36 moths).Goals:

-Develop common Promotional / marketing activities  

-Foster International R&D cooperation projects

-Sharing skills, services, facilities and technologies

-Improving scalability and up-scaling of the R&D projects

-Connecting enterprises and R&D institutions concerned with common topics

-Sharing tools and ideas for a better cluster management

-Spreading excellence, exploiting results, disseminating knowledge

The CLUSTER COORD FOOD METACLUSTER aims at identifying R&D and innovation activities which can best be developed competitively in the regions concerned and at implementing the policies necessary to pursue this vision.
