October 2016: Over 60 cluster participants and several ongoing innovation projects
May 2016: Winner of The Siva Price for best Norwegian innovation environment
April 2016: Delegation visit to Japanese maritime companies and the Sea Japan conference
February 2015: Launch of The Short Sea Pioneer project – a new way of transporting goods at sea
June 2014: Received the status as a Norwegian Center of Expertise (NCE)
March 2014: Launch of The Urban Water Shuttle project – the waterway to a sustainable future
January 2012: Launch of the first innovation project – development of a hybrid powersystem on The MS Folgefonn ferry
June 2011: Received the status as an Arena cluster
March 2011: Maritime CleanTech was established as a membership organisation. First members: Wärtsilä, Fjellstrand, SKL, Servogear, Eidesvik, Aker Solutions, Mecmar, Oma Baatbyggeri and Apply TB
