Description of measure

The Blueprint for Malaysia's Digital Economy envisions Malaysia becoming the regional leader in the digital economy and achieving inclusive, responsible and sustainable socio-economic development. This vision can be broken down into three main objectives: First, to encourage industry players to develop, leverage, and adopt innovative business models within the digital economy. Second, to leverage human capital that can thrive in the digital economy, and third, to foster an integrated ecosystem that enables society to adopt the digital economy. To achieve the three main objectives above, a total of six priority areas with 22 strategies being planned, including the development of digital industry clusters and the promotion of entrepreneurial activities.
