About us

Since 2003, Cancéropôle CLARA brings together academic, clinical and industrial researchers from the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region. Today, it serves a regional, national and international strategy against cancer. Its goal is the rapid transfer of discoveries to patients as well as the economic value of research.CLARA is committed to all players in the network to promote their decompartmentalization and collaborations. It supports research projects through structured service offerings developed in line with their needs and the region area of expertise:

- biomedical innovations (Cell plasticity, Immunity and infections, Micro-environment, Metabolism and Microbiota)

- innovations in health technologies (Multimodal imaging, Innovative radiotherapy, Nanomedicine/Omics, Big Data, Modelling)

- prevention and social innovations (Cancer prevention, Environment, Nutrition, Social Sciences and Humanities).

In only 12 years, the Proof of Concept program has demonstrated its effectiveness with iconic success stories such as Advanced Accelerator Applications (AAA), EDAP, TMS, ERYTECH Pharma, Nanobiotix and Innate Pharma.
