The Low Carbon Business Action (LCBA) Canada is supporting the Vancouver Economic Council (VEC) to find the right EU Innovators for 3 challenges in the energy sector. 

The challenges are in the following sectors: 

• Energy efficiency solutions 

• Low carbon heat production and optimization 

• Renewable energy generation 

This Neighbourhood Utility Targeted Call is the latest from Project Greenlight and will focus on technologies that will help the City’s Neighbourhood Energy Utility (NEU) increase its renewable energy supply and streamline operational efficiencies. The NEU is a city-owned district energy system that provides cost-effective, low-carbon space heating and domestic hot water to buildings in the False Creek neighbourhood in Vancouver.
