Description
Are you a European SME or small-mid cap developing low carbon or circular solutions and looking to do business in Canada?
The Low Carbon Business Action (LCBA) is an EU funded initiative which aims to support the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and increase the adoption of economic circularity using a business opportunity-driven approach.
From 13-15 April, the LCBA will hold its first Challenge Pitch Event where selected EU suppliers will pitch their solutions to meet industry challenges. The pitches at this event will address the following buyers and challenges:
- Maple Leaf Foods: anaerobic digestion bioenergy
- FPInnovations: value-added bioproducts
- COSIA: carbon capture
- Canadian Natural: passive methane leak detection
- Canadian Natural: carbon capture utilisation and storage
This event offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the LCBA project. Participants will meet Canadian Buyers and EU Sellers, as well as representatives from financial institutions. The sessions will allow Canadian Buyers the opportunity to present their unmet needs and watch EU innovators pitch their cleantech solutions in a dynamic and interactive session.
This is a free and open event and is an exciting opportunity for potential buyers and investors to sit in on pitches, participate in formal Q&A sessions, and network with EU companies looking to expand into the Canadian market. The event starts on 13 April at 16:00 CET.
