The WestMED Cluster Alliance is a cluster dialogue initiative supported by the WestMED Initiative – the EU Initiative aimed at supporting a sustainable blue economy in the western Mediterranean. https://www.westmed-initiative.eu/westmed-maritime-clusters-alliance/.
On the 28 September at 14:00 CET, as part of SEAFUTURE 2021, the WestMED Maritime Clusters Alliance is promoting a series of moderated discussions to promote greater cooperation across clusters in the blue economy and beyond.
Discussions will be moderated by members of the WestMED Cluster Alliance and exchanges will be open to all participants. The different topics for discussions will be as follows :
- Cluster dialogue: ability of maritime cluster to expand across value-chains (moderated by Colin Ruel, Pole Mer Méditerranée, FR);
- Cluster up-scale South-South: state of the art of south-south dialogue (moderated by Ezzedine Kacem, Tunisian Maritime Cluster, TU);
- Capacity building North-South: main streams of funding identified so far (moderated by Flavia Cavaliere, Blue Italian Growth Cluster, IT);
- Investment attraction: exploiting I3 opportunities for blue economy SMEs (moderated by Ruben Eiras, Forum Oceano, PT).
