Calling all SMEs and clusters working to fight climate change!
This year the UK will host the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow from 31 October – 12 November 2021.
The COP26 summit will bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
The event will be a mixture of in-person and online events. They key goal is to discuss how countries can achieve the ambitious 2030 emissions reductions targets that align with reaching net zero by the middle of the century.
To deliver on these stretching targets, countries will need to:

Accelerate the phase-out of coal

Stop deforestation

Speed up the switch to electric vehicles

Encourage investment in renewables.
There will be over 160 events for participants to join and learn more about climate change on themes such as:
