Are you a cluster or SME in the Blue Economy?
Funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund, BlueInvest aims to boost innovation and investment in sustainable technologies for the blue economy by supporting readiness and access to finance for early-stage businesses, SMEs and scale-ups.
BlueInvest is organising a one-day workshop which will bring together entrepreneurs, corporates, investors and stakeholders from the Blue Economy to discuss developments in aquaculture. The event will look into areas where European innovation can have a competitive advantage and potentially transform the aquaculture industry, in line with the objectives of the EU Green Deal.
Objectives
Within the context of the BlueInvest platform, the workshop will aim to:

Look at how to boost innovation and investment in sustainable aquaculture in Europe

Provide a capacity building component to support SMEs and mature start-ups with their investment readiness

Increase investor awareness in developments on sustainable aquaculture, and promote European technologies and projects with high potential
The BlueInvest Thematic Workshop on Aquaculture is a hybrid event that will take place within Aquaculture Europe 2021 in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.
