INTERMERE 202104

Description

Baltic Sea and Space Cluster has the Associated Partner of the the InterMarE South Baltic Maritime Economy Exhibition, held in the near future, 20-22 April.

Dear Sir or Madam,

As the MTG SA Gdańsk International Fair Co., we are the Leader of the InterMarE Project (ongoing since 2017).

It is related to the topics of cooperation and international exchange of experience on the development of the maritime economy (project co-funded under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), part of the 2014-2020 Interreg South Baltic Programme). At a meeting on the subject matter of the event with Prof. Marek Grzybowski, who represents our Associated Partner, The Baltic Sea and Space Cluster, we found out that your organisation takes part in similar endeavours. If established, our cooperation and mutual exchange of information will certainly contribute to better communication for both projects.

Together, we will also achieve a greater scale and a real impact on the increasingly demanding and changing reality. An excellent occasion for this will be the InterMarE South Baltic Maritime Economy Exhibition, held in the near future, 20-22 April, which we organise together with our Partners:

Free Entrepreneurship Association – Poland

Rostock Business and Technology Development GmbH – Germany

Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences: Technology, Business and Design – Germany

Public Institution Strategic Self-Management Institute – Lithuania

 and our Associated Partners:

The Exhibition is a subsequent component in delivering the main goal to create a network of companies and stakeholders (including clusters, employer organisations, local authorities) to facilitate a greater recognition of maritime industry SMEs from the South Baltic region in international markets and to improve cooperation in the supply chain within the region.

The Project activities which strengthen the international activity of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the blue economy will improve competitiveness as well as the development and implementation of innovative technologies.

An interactive Database created under the Project is a support tool for networking exchange and more effective cooperation.

The platform is available at the InterMarE Project website: https://db.intermare-southbaltic.eu/

We encourage all entities which operate in the maritime industry in its broad sense to add their company details to the Database.

To date, we have established collaboration with ELMAR, a parallel project, with its Partners and companies engaged in it to be present at InterMarE as exhibitors at a multimedia stand (see attached), during the presentation on the Cross Border Main Stage and in the matchmaking zone.
