Description of measure

Innovation Labs programme is managed by the startup division of the Israel Innovation Authority, an independent publicly funded agency. The main objectives of the programme is to provide entrepreneurs and startup companies with access to unique technological infrastructures, market insights, and specialised channels of marketing and expertise. Also, to bolster and advance the Israeli economy in general and industry in particular. The main beneficiares are companies and corporations. The programme has a platform that facilitates collaborations with other companies in the industry, in academia, etc. In addition, It provides funds up to 33% of the costs to establish the necessary technological infrastructure (50% in the periphery areas), up to a maximum of NIS 4,000,000 (EUR 1,030,701.67) and also fund 50% of the lab’s ongoing operating expenditures each year up to a maximum of NIS 500,000 (EUR 128837.7) without any requirement for financing by the entrepreneur. The main success of the programme is its exposure to the Israeli innovation ecosystem.
