About us

The Spanish Science Industry Association, INEUSTAR, is a Spanish, non-profit, private association of industrial companies dedicated to conception, design, construction, exploitation and maintenance of the scientific instruments and facilities, in order to contribute to the progress of science and technology, as well as to the strengthening of the innovation; and centers its activities within the Science Industry sector (also called Big Science)

INEUSTAR’s horizon and work objectives include fostering and promoting Public-Private Partnerships in all facilities, projects and scientific programs along the world and, in particular, in those where Spain participates with a specific contribution.

INEUSTAR closely collaborates with the main Spanish public bodies related to Science Industry, such as:

Spanish Science and Innovation Ministry
Spanish Economy, Industry and Tourism Ministry
ICEX Spain Exports and Investments, the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade
The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI)
Other regional Governments, such as Basque Country and the Tenerife Cabildo
The scope of action of the Association is the whole Spanish area, its work philosophy is a network of companies, research centers, universities and support organizations and institutions that collaborate together. Is for this reason that INEUSTAR manages INDUCIENCIA, the Spanish Science Industry Technology Platform (https://www.induciencia.es/). Within INDUCIENCIA, the majority of the Spanish Science Industry (Big Science) players are included. Currently, the Platform counts with 188 members:
