Improving the availability and scope of services for companies in financial difficulties

The European Commission’s Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) has launched a call to improve the availability and scope of services for companies in financial difficulties.

The general objective of this action is to improve the availability and scope of services for companies that are at risk of facing insolvency, for whatever reason, across EU Member States and third countries participating in the EU programme for the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (COSME). These terms of reference are relevant to advisors and mentors whose activities include:

a) advisory services for companies in difficulty with respect to technical, legal, and administrative support;

b) mentoring support for business owners (and others associated with a company) addressing issues of resilience, in terms of the companies’ owner(s) and staff, in coping with failing businesses, as well as turn-around capacity. The same person may assume the role of an advisor and mentor.

900,000 is available for this call. The deadline for the call is 23 March.
