Summary and objectives
The overall objective of the GreenTech 2.0 project is to establish strategic partnership among green tech clusters in building their excellence and providing new services to SMEs. Considering the specificities of green tech companies and the needs of the sector, GreenTech 2.0 aims at scaling up the support services of participating clustersin order to support the SMEs operating in green tech industry and aiming at resilient, sustainable and circular business model implementation and technological innovations. GreenTech 2.0 will empower green tech clusters to acquire technical capacity needed for supporting SMEs in exploiting growth opportunities, service innovation, resource-efficient solutions, market traction, finding investments and internationalisation. This will be accompanied by strengthening cluster management excellence and strategic partnering between clusters and specialised eco-systems and cities, including the implementation of the “ClusterXchange” Programme.

- All Green Tech 2.0 partner clusters will be awarded the ECEI BRONZE Label
- 5 Peer-to-peer learning sessions
- Self-assessment of cluster excellence analysing the needs and gaps in strategic skills of green tech cluster managers innovation potential
- 35-50 GreenTech 2.0 cluster managers and staff will benefit from training activities
- 50-100 cluster staff of ECCP clusters participating in virtual green tech growth potential and value chain business needs seminar
- Cross-collaboration of 5 European clusters on creating a joint service portfolio.support GreenTech Services 2.0 portfolio will be supporting the growth and competitiveness of their SMEs.
- 17 new SMEs support services will be developed by the GreenTech 2.0 clusters
- 50 new SMEs contracts attracted thanks to the new service portfolio
- A GreenTech Services 2.0 portfolio roadmap will be created to guide the SMEs on exploiting the new services
- 150 VC funds and angel investors mapped and put in contact with relevant SMEs
- 100 corporations made available to further cooperation with SMEs
- 20 matchmaking events between SMEs and corporates/investors
- Established GreenTech 2.0 ClusterXchange Alumni Network with over 120 active members
- Dissemination and communication activities will reach SMEs, cluster organisations, cluster stakeholders and policy makers (100 000 people)
- The best practices and lessons learned gathered upon the completion of the ClusterXchange Programme will be put together in a Catalogue, user-friendly and accessible to all the cluster stakeholders.
- Implementing 50+ SMEs international exchanges, with focus on green and digital transformation of the European economy
- Facilitating international collaborations and prospective joint projects through an international mobility scheme
- Raising awareness internationally about 50+ SMEs though ClusterXchange Campaign and other information dissemination activities
