Framework Partnership Agreement Call for SMEs' Interests in Standardisation

DEADLINE: 29 October 2021

Under the Standardisation pillar of the Single Market Programme (SMP Standardisation), EISMEA has an open call for proposals for grants in the field of standardisation.

Context

Standardisation has a leading role in creating the EU Single Market. It reduces costs, improves safety, and enhances competition. Due to their role in protecting health, safety, security, and the environment, standards are also important to the public and businesses.

The aim of this call is to support the representation of SMEs in the European standardisation process.

Based on the Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA), applicants are asked to propose a multi-annual action plan. The plan should cover the envisaged period of the FPA (2022-2026).

The plan should give information on activities planned in support of the EU industrial strategy, in particular how to make the European economy greener and more digital. It should also provide information on how the applicant(s) see their role in the industrial ecosystems and the European standardisation system.

To be eligible for this call, you must be a European organisation representing SMEs in European standardisation activities.

The indicative budget for 2022 for this call is €4.7 million, of which 35% will go to SMEs (€1.6 million).
