The Forum of Cluster Association and Networks (FCAN) was created to foster communication on the issues and subjects that matter most to clusters.
In this context, FCAN and ECCP are organising a webinar to present the experiences of regional clusters in fostering regional economic growth and to highlight how the thematic platforms can engage regional clusters. The webinar will take place on Tuesday 9 November at 15:00 CET.
The webinar will showcase the journey of one of the successful regional clusters initiatives in fostering economic growth and link it to a thematic specialisation.
The keynote speaker, Annie Renders, is the Head of Unit for Cluster Policy at Flanders Innovation and Entrepreneurship (VLAIO) and is responsible for the selection and follow-up of funding for cluster organisations in Flanders.
In 2000, Annie joined the Flemish Agency for Innovation, which integrated into Flanders Innovation and Entrepreneurship in 2016. She has been involved in the coordination of the regional innovation ecosystem, in the monitoring of innovation policy in Flanders and, more recently, in the development of the Flemish Cluster policy.
