Speakers at FCAN webinar Gawel Walczak and Berengere Moindrot.v1

Description

The ECCP and Forum for Cluster Associations and Networks (FCAN) are pleased to announce the next webinar on Examples of Clusters in Countries Beyond Europe, which will be held on 10 June at 15:00 CEST.

In this webinar, two European clusters will present their approaches to internationalisation and collaboration in countries beyond Europe. They will also describe how they identified new markets in target countries, and the steps they took to network in these regions or countries.

The first keynote speaker, Bérengère Moindrot from agri-food innovation cluster Vitagora, will showcase its internationalisation and collaboration, as well as international development experience, with clusters in countries beyond Europe. The second keynote speaker, Gawel Walczak from technological innovation cluster secpho, will showcase its international development experiences through partnership searching tools on the ECCP website.

Speaker background

Bérengère Moindrot graduated with a degree in Chinese language and culture, and has been working in international relations for 15 years. She has lived and worked in Japan for three years. After a career in higher education and numerous roles on different continents, she joined Vitagora, a leading French agri-food innovation cluster. In January 2020, she became Vitagora’s International Development Manager.

Beyond its commitment to European projects and cooperation with clusters, Vitagora launched the Vitagora Japan office in Kyushu last October, in collaboration with the Kyushu Bio Cluster Conference and as a result of more than 10 years of cooperation. Bérengère is convinced that working with international partners, and building bridges between countries, cultures and people, is necessary to face the global challenges of both today and tomorrow.

Gawel Walczak is an International Affairs Manager at secpho, responsible for strategic partnership building at the international level. Gawel focuses on fostering cross-sectoral collaboration in technological innovation by identifying key stakeholders in sectors targeted by secpho, and establishing cooperation with them.

secpho’s international network of partners includes entities (other clusters, chambers of commerce, technological parks, innovation hubs, companies and research institutions, etc.) from Europe.
