About us
FACYL brings together a wide range of companies in the automotive sector. Amongst its partners there are OEMs located in Castilla y León: manufacturers of automotive components and systems, providers of integral industrial production services, auxiliary service companies, engineering firms, universities and technological centers, all specializing in this sector.
This diversity of specialization in products and processes, along with companies and R&D entities that share common interests, experiences and knowledge in the same geographical area, reinforces FACYL as an automotive cluster.
The general objective of the Castilla y León Automotive Cluster is to contribute to the strengthening of the regional sector. To achieve this, FACYL develops actions aimed at improving the competitiveness of its members by implementing initiatives to advance technological changes and to anticipate the challenges of the market.
FACYL's activity focuses on three basic lines of action: identifying needs, proposing shared solutions (in those fields where there is no risk of violating, restricting or hindering free competition) and revealing the reality of the regional sector.
