The COSME-ELCA consortium invites you to join our exploratory mission in United Arab Emirates during EXPO 2020 on 10th January 2022.
Within its framework of international activities, the ELCA Internationalization consortium is preparing the mission to UAE for discovering new lightweight practices and presenting European solutions.
The mission is scheduled in two different parts which will involve physical meetings and online workshops.
The first session, which will take place during the morning, constitutes in a physical visit to the facilities of the Aerospace Research and Innovation Center of the Khalifa University, located in Abu Dhabi. The COSME-ELCA delegation will have the opportunity to discover research projects and main trends in innovation, as well presenting its activities and showing some of the best cases to the University’s professors and staff.
The second session will take place at the Austrian Pavilion - inside the EXPO area - with a hybrid workshop - that allows the virtual attendance for the European public and the physical presence for the delegation in Dubai.
The workshop “Lightweight for sustainability” will be a roundtable to create the opportunity of an exchange of the best cases and experiences in lightweight projects and their contribute to the environmental sustainability.
