Summary and objectives

The H2GLOBAL project focuses on positioning Europe as a global technological and industrial leader in the green hydrogen economy. The objective of the project is based on the creation of a partnership, "European Strategic Cluster Partnership - Going International", bringing together the main clusters in Europe and, subsequently, those outside Europe, such as Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Chile and North Africa, specialized in green hydrogen technology. The project will contribute above all to strengthening Europe's position in the green hydrogen sector, but also to supporting the development of companies, associations and SMEs along the entire green hydrogen value chain.

Results expected

The consortium will structure a collaborative internationalization strategy focused on intensifying cross-sectoral collaboration between European clusters and transnational cooperation within and beyond Europe. We will develop through peer learning and best-practices exchange new approaches in internationalization of clusters, to foster the commercialization of European hydrogen-related innovations internationally, while seeking opportunities to explore synergies for long-term collaboration with third countries. The action will target international high potential growth markets and key contributor players in the (green) hydrogen ecosystem in Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Chile and North Africa. The expected results include the creation of international meta-cluster gathering companies active in the green hydrogen sector, as well as strenghtening and supporting creation of SMEs across entire green hydrogen value chain.
