The ECCP Trend Universe is a new tool which allows platform users to get a deeper understanding of future trends and their impact on cluster organisations. Using the ECCP Trend Universe provides insights into those trends to build strategic competitive advantages, explores relevant trends from 14 different industrial ecosystems, and shows relevant trend assessments from clusters and global data.
In this context, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, DG GROW, organised the EU Clusters Talk “Special Edition: Welcome to the Trend Universe” on 21 June 2023, 8:30 – 9:30 CET, to introduce the ECCP Trend Universe, show the functionalities, learn about the benefits for cluster organisations, and discuss the importance of strategic foresight.
Speakers included:

- Jan-Philipp Kramer, Head of EU Services, Prognos;
- Franz Bailom, CEO, in-manas: intelligent management solutions;
- Antonio Novo, Managing Director, Cluster IDiA;
- Fritz Fahringer, Thematic Platform Digitalisation and Resilient Production, Standortagentur Tirol.
This event is part of bi-weekly online meetings brought to the cluster community by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform. They offer up-to-date insights into the latest industrial policies and clusters’ involvement, projects, and best practices, the latest ECCP news, and funding opportunities. The EU Clusters Talks are a space to exchange knowledge and to discuss cluster-relevant topics, which will change with every meeting.
