From 14–28 June, the Delegation of the European Union to Mexico is organising the second Creative Industries Forum. The event is organised in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Culture of Mexico through the Centro de Cultura Digital and the México Creativo initiative, and aims to identify possible business opportunities for European companies in Mexico.
This year, the topic will be ‘International Markets in Economic Recovery’, and the forum will showcase the EU's experience and key policies in this field, as well as consolidate the ideas and initiatives that resulted from the first forum.
The forum will consist of 9 online seminars, which will feature live interpretation services (from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish). The inauguration of the second edition of the forum will be attended by authorities from the Federal Secretariat of Culture of Mexico and the European Union.
The topics covered at the forum will include:
- markets and value chains of the creative industries;
- legislation on intellectual property;
- protection of collective property rights;
- financing schemes and support programs for creative industries in Mexico and Europe.
