The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Call for Proposals is now open

DEADLINE: 08 June 2022

Is your organisation ready to enhance and facilitate the exchanges of entrepreneurs?

We are delighted to announce that a new Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs call for proposals has been launched!

The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme:

This cross-border exchange programme gives aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs, running small businesses in other participating countries. In return, the experienced entrepreneurs get access to innovative ideas and new partner markets.

The programme aims to enhance entrepreneurship, the Single Market outlook of European SMEs and foster potential start-up entrepreneurs and small enterprises in the Participating Countries.

The call for proposals:

With an overall budget of EUR 40 000 000, offering four-year grants of maximum 4 million EUR each, the call is directed at organisations who support small businesses and entrepreneurs.

The purpose of the call is to select Intermediary Organisations (IOs), which are organisations that implement the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme at local level, recruiting the entrepreneurs and maximising the benefits of the programme.

Proposals must, therefore, focus on matching budding entrepreneurs with established, host entrepreneurs. We encourage entrepreneurs from all economic sectors to participate!

The specific objectives of this call, alongside the general objective of the programme, include:

  • To foster the matching of entrepreneurs from “underrepresented” countries, such as Ukraine, Turkey, Republic of Moldova and Armenia.
  • To contribute to the EU Industrial Strategy updated objectives by supporting the green and digital transitions whilst strengthening the resilience of European economy.

Around 100 new business support organisations will be selected in this programme: don't miss the opportunity to make your organisation one of them!
