The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Bourgogne Franche-Comté offers companies a regional energy management support programme, with the support of Ademe and the Bourgogne Franche-Comté Region. The objective of the SEE programme, Energy Efficiency in Enterprises, is to help companies implement sustainable-energy saving actions by providing them with expert and adapted information, accompanying them in their better energy management projects and use of renewable energies, and putting them in contact with resources and experts.

Information is shared through technical meetings, an energy newsletter, technology transfer, R&D projects and other tools, research and energy saving initiatives.

Companies receive project support and guidance in a range of activities (energy efficiency, energy purchases, energy diagnosis, project financing, etc.). For example, the Energy Visit ++ is a first step in energy auditing, carried out by CCI. It helps the company identify energy-intensive elements, evaluate what actions to take, and finally CCI helps to implement recommended changes. This visit and preparatory suppot does not replace the expert work of a consulting firm specialising in energy.

The programme also organises the hiring of an energy specialist, shared by participating companies, to work on their sites. Other support activities include help in grant applications for studies and energy efficiency works, support in renewable energy projects (biomass, anaerobic digestion, waste-heat recovery, etc.), and help in implementing energy management systems (ISO 50001).
