EU Techbridge matches innovative European SMEs with partners in the US and Canada seeking innovative water and energy solutions. The consortium counts five European clusters.
In partnership with EU Techbridge, on 22 June at 17:00 CET participants are invited to join a webinar from Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation (LASAN), which is responsible for operating one of the world’s largest wastewater plant collection and treatment systems in Los Angeles.
After hearing from stakeholders about their needs and how they work with innovative suppliers, SMEs have the opportunity to be selected for two rounds of 1:1 meetings, as well as for co-financing of travel costs to visit partners (travel conditions permitting).
They will focus on their challenges, technology needs and the possibility of collaborating with innovative technology suppliers. After the presentation from LASAN, participants will have an opportunity to engage in a Q&A and, if relevant, apply to engage in 1:1 meetings with LASAN.
LASAN is looking to solve these challenges:
- Energy efficiency – how could hyperion (LASAN’s vision for recycling 100% of the water) become more energy efficient and cut energy consumption in view of the increase of water to be treated?
- Brine – could it become a valuable resource?
- Direct reuse of clean water – could your technology be relevant?
