Description

The Phytocontrol Group, in partnership with the University of Nîmes, is proud to renew the experience for the second edition of the FOOD Risk conference which will take place in Nîmes on 8 and 9 June 2022.

This year, the key themes will be food safety and authenticity.

The success of the first edition in 2020 was due as much to its format as to the content of these two days of interactive conferences, testimonies, round tables, perspectives and action plans designed to encourage exchanges between speakers and the public.

In a context of climate change and globalisation, a wide range of industry leaders, retailers, food producers, academics, researchers, certification and control bodies, institutions and laboratories will unite to identify measures and strategies in order to face and overcome current and future challenges in food safety and authenticity.

300 participants from all over the world are expected this year to better understand the issues around the different topics on the programme: anticipation and control of risks, analysis techniques and innovations, traceability, digitalisation, products and sectors affected by food fraud, regulation, crisis management and communication. Full details of the programme are available at https://foodrisk.eu/en/programme.

"Today more than ever, we are facing the human challenges of tomorrow. Climate change and global food production have a major impact on our food and health security. One of the most important challenges for humanity is to move towards healthier and more sustainable consumption. As major players in the food industry and the environment, we all have a role to play in meeting these challenges," says Mikaël Bresson, President of Phytocontrol Group.

AURORA is a partner of this event, and as such you will benefit from a discount on the conference pass with the code FOODRISK25.
