Summary and objectives
CLAMTEX main objective is to strengthen cluster management excellence of the participating European clusters to boost their specialized innovation eco-system by facilitating the cross-sectoral and cross-regional collaboration to facilitate the uptake of digitalization within and beyond the partnership with the implementation of ClusterXchange pilot scheme. CLAMTEX is an European Strategic Cluster Partnership composed of textile and advanced manufacturing clusters from 3 countries and 4 regions, with a joint strategy to facilitate the uptake of digitalization and the user-centered approaches, benefiting both advanced production suppliers and textile companies in a win-win approach. The main tasks implemented in CLAMTEX will follow Kaizen principles towards excellence and always-improving attitude using the Deming Cycle applied in cluster management. This will comprise several iterations of internal and external benchmarking, training in cluster management and in facilitating tools to foster excellent services to cluster’s members. CLAMTEX will also implement the ClusterXchange to foster the start of cooperation toward growth with focus on cross-sectoral and cross-border learning to benefit from the Single Market.
Results expected
In total we expect that 2 staff from each cluster will participate in the capacity building, 50 participants in exchanges and a total of 635 SMEs will benefit from the revised cluster strategies that CLAMTEX will conduct. The different actions will lead to an increased awareness at each cluster on how their members can better exploit the Single Market opportunities with the development of several market and trend studies that will be complemented with the growth opportunities by means of exchanges and strategic visits at international partners. In the long run, the partnership aims to sustain the collaboration with a dedicated joint strategy and a roadmap of collaboration activities for the next years.
